And when we say deliver, that means supplying the world with its Tesla Model Y needs in the first half of the year, which means it works to get cars delivered around the world.
On the flip side, the CEO revealed that the next quarter or supposed third of the year will focus on delivery to other parts of China or remote areas. The next, or the last quarter, would focus on nearby locations or those in Shanghai.

On the other hand, Tesla’s Giga Berlin is coming soon to help facilitate Giga Shanghai production and help deliver the Model Y, which the world needs. Also, it wouldn’t just be rolling out the Model Y, as there were leaks or speculation that this would be the site for future Tesla vehicles.

It was initially said that the Tesla Model Y would be the focus of the upcoming Gigafactory Berlin, bringing the latest battery with the 4,680 power cells, which are known to be a fan-awaited venture. However, the older Model Y would have been cheaper in production via Giga Shanghai, which is expected as a massive increase in sales from Tesla.
Gigafactories are a huge help in the production and parts of the clean energy company’s electric vehicle components, as well as smart home accessories and products. What gives them an advantage is that this is a facility that also focuses on research and development, something that would evaluate the product that they have.
That being said, a supposed fourth gigafactory location is arriving in another country, which would help Tesla to further achieve volume production and development of its cars.
What sets gigafactories apart is that Tesla makes sure these factories are big and can accommodate massive vehicle orders.
